Perfect for beginners and growers who want to build resilience, save money, and deepen their understanding of plants.
Join Exeter Seed Bank for a free hands-on workshop all about saving your own seeds for future growing seasons. The session will include plenty of practical, hands-on activities, plus guidance on how to clean and dry seeds and store them properly so they stay viable for years to come.
We will cover the easy wins: crops that don’t cross-pollinate easily and can be saved from smaller plant populations, including French beans, peas, tomatoes, and lettuce. There will also be an introduction to hand-pollination techniques for squash and courgettes, so you can confidently save seed from these crops too.
Please book on the Exeter Phoenix website so we can keep track of numbers.
