Seed Savers Social
Friday 27 March 7-8pm at The Bowling Green, 29-30 Blackboy Rd, Exeter EX4 6ST
Would you like to steward some French beans or peas? We have a great selection donated by the Heritage Seed Library. Grow a teepee or a row.
Why save seed? Where to start? Join us, give it a go, and save seed this year for yourself and to share. Join us at the Bowling Green pub on March 27th, 7–8pm, to chat about seeds and pick up some to grow for seed. You won’t be doing this alone - we will meet on the last Friday of each month in a pub or café (to be announced).
We don’t have to rely on big agricultural seed and chemical companies that are reducing biodiversity and controlling our seed.
Home-grown seed adapts to soil and climate, so our locally grown seed is more resilient. A quiet act of resistance, it saves us money too. Let’s revive the craft of seed saving by sharing knowledge and learning together.
