What can seven simple soil tests reveal about the soil below our feet?
Exeter Seed Bank has been trialling a new Community Soil Testing Kit with local growers and allotmenteers to explore soil as a living, breathing ecosystem and a crucial part of growing healthy food and plants in our urban environment.

The Kits, which have been created as a shared or ‘common’ tool for community growers, are aimed at improving knowledge and deepen understanding of soil health in our local area.

The Soil Testing Kits will be available on loan from Exeter Seed Bank for community gardens and allotmenteers.

With over 15 interactive stands and showcases, expect a vibrant mix of activities and experiences from University of Exeter researchers, there’ll be plenty to see, do and explore throughout the day.
